Jeremy Scholtes, attorney at Miles & Stockbridge, represents government contractors and sub-contractors in a variety of transactional and dispute matters, including but not limited to: performing analyses of Federal Acquisition Regulation and other federal, state, and local level procurement regulations; drafting and negotiating contracts; preparing, analyzing, and litigating claims and lawsuits before local, state, and federal agencies and courts; representing protesters and interveners in bid protests; and conducting internal investigations. Jeremy maintains an active security clearance and regularly advises on classified matters. He also serves as outside general counsel to numerous small and mid-sized companies, focusing on contract, employee, and regulatory compliance matters, while leveraging the deep bench of other practitioners at Miles & Stockbridge for their expertise in other areas of law.
After 13+ years on active duty as an infantry officer and then JAG officer, Jeremy now serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve with duty as an adjunct professor in the National Security Department at The Judge Advocate General Legal Center and School in Charlottesville, VA.
