Robert Mazzuca

Robert Mazzuca is a Sr. Engineering Manager with the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP). Responsible for developing Defense Industrial Base Policy for NJMEP. Robert also serves as the Executive Director for the SMART Congressional Initiative.

SMART is a Bi-Partisan Congressional Delegation of DE, MD, NJ & PA; 8 Senators & 39 Congressman. In his previous role with SMART, Robert served as the Chairman of Economic Development. He was also a member of The COVID Task Force as per Operation Warp Speed. Responsible for Supply Chain acquisitions for Federal Agencies. Most recently Robert served as Deputy Director.
Robert is an accomplished aerospace engineer with a distinguished career spanning several key roles in the aerospace and defense industries. He has contributed significantly to High Reliability Manufacturing, Spacecraft Systems Integration, Weapons Systems, Engineering & Development, Special Project Management, and Process Improvement using Six-Sigma methodologies.
Robert's professional journey includes roles at RCA Corporation, GE Aerospace, Martin Marietta Missiles & Defense, and Lockheed Martin Missiles & Space. In addition to his technical and managerial expertise, Robert also co-founded a government forensics company that collaborated with agencies such as the SEC and the Department of Justice and serves as a merit reviewer for the National Science Foundation in Washington, DC.
Robert's work reflects a commitment to innovation, engineering, public service, and advancing technology across multiple domains.
